About Pin Catch
Pin Catch is a free online Pinterest video downloader. We built it for one simple reason: Pinterest is a great place to find ideas, but it doesn't give you an easy way to keep a video on your own device. You paste a public pin link, choose a quality, and save the file as an MP4. No app, no login, no sign-up.
Who We Are
We are a small team of web developers and everyday Pinterest users. We were tired of tools that were slow, buried in pop-ups, or asked for personal details just to save a short clip. So we created a cleaner, simpler option focused on what people actually need: a fast Pinterest video download that works on any phone or computer.
What We Do
Pin Catch reads the public link you paste and looks for the media files Pinterest has made available for that pin. Depending on the pin, you can save:
- Video pins and Idea Pins that contain video, as MP4 files
- Animated pins as GIF files
- Image pins at the largest size Pinterest offers
- Individual items from carousel pins, where the files are available
We do not upscale or alter anything. If a pin was uploaded in HD, you can save it in HD. If the original is small, that is what you will get. We would rather be honest about quality than promise results no downloader can deliver.
Our Principles
Simple. Copy a link, paste it, save the file. The whole process takes about thirty seconds.
Private. We never ask for your Pinterest username or password. Pin Catch works from the public link alone, and nothing needs to be installed on your device.
Free. There is no subscription and no paid tier for the downloader.
Respectful of creators. Public does not mean free to reuse. Please use downloaded videos for personal viewing and get the creator's permission before reposting, editing, or using a video commercially. Our DMCA page explains how copyright owners can contact us.
Independent Service
Pin Catch is an independent tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Pinterest, Inc. "Pinterest" and related names and logos are trademarks of their respective owner, used here only to describe what our tool works with.
Why Trust Us
Our tool only works with public content, never asks for sensitive information, and tells you plainly what it can and cannot do. If a pin is private, deleted, or restricted, we say so. Our Privacy Policy is written in plain language so you know what happens when you use the site.
