Before You Write: Quick Fixes

Most download problems are easy to solve. Try these first:

  1. Check the link. Copy the link to a single pin, not a board, profile, or search page. A link that is cut off at the end will not work.
  2. Make sure the pin is public. Pin Catch cannot access private, deleted, or restricted pins.
  3. Refresh and try again. If the progress bar stays at the same percentage for more than a minute, refresh the page and paste the link again.
  4. Switch browser or connection. An ad blocker, old browser, or weak signal can interfere. Turn off the blocker for this site, move to Wi-Fi, or try another browser.
  5. Try a different pin. If other pins work, the problem is with that one video.

What to Include in Your Message

To help us solve your problem quickly, please tell us:

  • The Pinterest link you tried (a public pin only)
  • Your device and browser, for example "iPhone, Safari"
  • What you expected and what happened instead
  • A screenshot of any error message, if you have one

Please do not send us your Pinterest password or any other login details. We will never ask for them.

What We Cannot Help With

  • Private or deleted pins. We cannot access content Pinterest does not make public.
  • Higher quality than the original. We do not upscale videos, so a low-resolution pin stays low-resolution.
  • Permission to reuse a video. Only the creator can give you that, so please contact them directly.
